Elon Musk said Wednesday he plans to create a feature-length version of Homer\u2019s “The Odyssey” that is “historically accurate” and faithful to the author\u2019s intentions.<\/p>\n

The 55-year-old reposted a three-minute scene from the mythological poem on X that a user said was created by X\u2019s Grok Imagine.<\/p>\n

“Before this year ends, Grok Imagine will make a full-length movie of The Odyssey that is historically accurate and true to the art of Homer,” the billionaire owner of X posted.<\/p>\n

His comments come as controversy continues to swirl over the casting of Christopher Nolan\u2019s epic film version of the classical work, which premiered last weekend, particularly the casting of Lupita Nyong\u2019o as Helen of Troy.<\/p>\n

Musk has been bashing “The Odyssey” since February, when he reposted a user who claimed casting Nyong\u2019o would be an “insult” to Homer since she was described in the poem as a “fair skinned, blonde, and \u2018the face that launched a thousand ships\u2019 because she was so beautiful that men started a war over her.”<\/p>\n

“Chris Nolan has lost his integrity,” Musk responded at the time.<\/p>\n

He also responded with “True” after reposting conservative commentator Matt Walsh saying, “Not one person on the planet actually thinks that Lupita Nyong\u2019o is \u2018the most beautiful woman in the world.\u2019 But Christopher Nolan knows that he would be called racist if he gave \u2018the most beautiful woman\u2019 role to a white woman.”<\/p>\n

Fox News Digital has reached out to reps for Nolan for comment.<\/p>\n

“The Odyssey” gave Nolan, who also directed blockbusters like “The Dark Knight” trilogy and “Oppenheimer, the best global weekend debut of his career \u2014 more than $264 million \u2014 after it opened last Friday.<\/p>\n
