Chelsea could be set to do more business with Premier League rivals Brighton & Hove Albion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last summer, Chelsea signed Joao Pedro from Brighton, with the striker able to make an immediate impact at Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n

In the past, they have also brought in Moises Caicedo, Marc Cucurella and Robert Sanchez from the Amex Stadium.<\/p>\n

The Blues are now reportedly eyeing another Brighton star as they continue to improve their squad.<\/p>\n

Chelsea have Carlos Baleba on their radar<\/h2>\n

Chelsea want to sign a new midfielder before the season starts and have seemingly turned their attention to Carlos Baleba.<\/p>\n

Journalist Simon Phillips has claimed on Si Phillips Talks Chelsea that the Club World Cup holders are \u201cbig admirers\u201d of Baleba and are considering making a move for him.<\/p>\n

When Manchester United were interested in signing the 22-year-old last summer, Brighton wanted a fee in excess of \u00a3100m for his signature, according to The Telegraph.<\/p>\n

Chelsea have spent \u00a3117m on Morgan Rogers, so that kind of price tag is unlikely to deter them.<\/p>\n

Signing a midfielder is likely to become a more pressing matter if Enzo Fernandez leaves the club.<\/p>\n

Fernandez is not settled at Chelsea and is seeking a new challenge, but no one has come forward yet with a bid for the Argentine.<\/p>\n
