After Chelsea agreed a deal to sign Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa, the two clubs have agreed a deal for a player to move in the opposite direction.<\/p>\n

Rogers joined the Blues, and became Britain\u2019s most expensive player, earlier this week after an agreement worth an eye-watring \u00a3117 million was finalised with Villa.<\/p>\n

And although Alejandro Garnacho was not part of Rogers’ transfer, the two clubs have finalised a deal, finding a solution for the struggling Argentine.<\/p>\n

In need of a replacement for Rogers, who primarily played on the left-wing, Unai Emery had identified Garnacho as his preferred target.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old was an attainable target after it was made clear he had little-to-no future at Stamford Bridge. <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Garnacho joined Chelsea from Manchester United just 12 months ago for a \u00a340 million fee. <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Consequently, keen to move him on after realising the move hasn’t worked out, Chelsea have been hard at work to to find a permanent buyer willing to match their \u00a342.6 million valuation. <\/p>\n

The Blues’ price tag has raised eyebrows after the winger scored just once in the Premier League in his opening season.<\/p>\n

However, remarkably, according to Sky Sports, despite their ambitious stance, Chelsea have reached an agreement with Villa for the young South American.<\/p>\n

The deal between Chelsea and Villa is a season loan with an obligation to buy which has been described as ‘easily achievable’, suggesting the Blues will end up pocketing what they were hoping to.<\/p>\n
