Manchester United retain a 10% sell-on clause from their \u00a340million deal to sell the Argentina international less than 12 months ago.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Unai Emery appears to have pushed for the move, saying in Villa&#8217;s statement announcing their signing: &#8220;We are delighted with Alejandro. He is so talented, young and he showed us his wish to help our project. He told VillaTV: &#8220;I was looking for a club to get confidence at and to try to be the player I was in my first years at Manchester United.
