So far this summer, Chelsea have cashed in on four players. To the tune of around \u00a3120m, Marc Cucurella, Andrey Santos, Tyrique George and Jimmy-Jay Morgan have left the club.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chelsea are expected to offload plenty more players before the window comes to an end. Last summer, Chelsea received north of \u00a3300m from player sales and it would be a surprise if it wasn\u2019t the same.<\/p>\n

The likes of Filip Jorgensen, Trevoh Chalobah, Benoit Badiashile, Gabriel Slonina, Liam Delap and more could be sold by the deadline. Another name looks like he could be added to that list this summer.<\/p>\n

It has been three years since Deivid Washington joined Chelsea in a \u00a317m move from Santos, aged just 18 years of age. After three senior appearances for Chelsea, it looks as if Washington will leave the club.<\/p>\n

Reports from Brazil say Chelsea have been in talks for two weeks<\/h2>\n

Washington, now 21, is back at Chelsea after a loan with Santos during 2025 in which he played 20 times for the Brazilian Serie A side. A nine-time Brazil U20 international, he\u2019s failed to prove his transfer fee.<\/p>\n

He returned at the start of the year and has since been playing in the U21s. But now, it looks as if the forward could leave again. Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte say Atletico Mineiro have been in talks.<\/p>\n

Indeed, negotiations have lasted the last fortnight over a deal for Washington. Mineiro want to sign the player on loan, yet Chelsea would prefer a permanent sale. There is an issue, Atletico are unable to spend.<\/p>\n

City Group interest and Washington contract situation at Chelsea<\/h2>\n

Back in January, City Group were surprisingly linked with the Chelsea outcast as they looked to take the Brazilian to Bahia. It seemed as if injury may have prevented such a move, but an exit is now certain.<\/p>\n

The youngster has a contract at Chelsea until the summer of 2030 but that is immaterial. Chelsea will want to cash in on the former Santos man and obviously, they will have to accept a big loss on Washington.<\/p>\n

Whether it is Mineiro, it remains to be seen. Chelsea may have to accept a loan exit for Washington given he has four years remaining on his contract, and hope that he can impress at the Brazilian side.<\/p>\n
