lejandro Garnacho says he is determined to rediscover the form that established him as one of the Premier League\u2019s brightest young attackers after completing a season-long loan move from CHELSEA to Aston Villa.<\/p>\n
The Argentina international arrives at Villa Park looking for regular first-team football following a difficult campaign at Stamford Bridge, where opportunities became increasingly limited amid managerial changes and fierce competition for attacking places.<\/p>\n
Villa moved swiftly to secure the attacker\u2019s signature, viewing him as an ideal addition to strengthen their attacking options ahead of a season that includes domestic and European commitments. The agreement includes Garnacho joining on loan for the 2026\/27 campaign, giving both clubs the opportunity to assess his long-term future.<\/p>\n
Speaking after the move was confirmed, Garnacho said he relished the chance to begin a new chapter and was eager to repay the faith shown in him by Aston Villa: \u201cI\u2019m really happy to be here,\u201d he said, when sitting down for his first interview with VillaTV.<\/p>\n
\u201cI can\u2019t wait to start on the pitch. It\u2019s an important club that is growing really quickly, so I can\u2019t wait to get started. I was looking for a club to get confidence at and to try to be the player I was in my first years at Manchester United.<\/p>\n
\u201cI spoke with the manager and I think he will give me the confidence to be here and to help the team.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI saw the Europa League last season and now we\u2019re joining the Champions League; it\u2019s important to be a part of this. I spoke with Unai before I came here and he gave me confidence. That\u2019s why I\u2019m here.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s important to play in European competitions. The Champions League is the best one, so we\u2019re going to play in that this season.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m really happy about that and hopefully we can do something important. It is one of my favourite stadiums in the league and now it will be my home,\u201d Garnacho said.<\/p>\n
