It has been mentioned that the Mancunian club are showing interest in recruiting the French talent in this transfer window.

Gusto’s Impressive Form In Italian Football

Gusto enjoyed a solid campaign at the London club in the previous campaign when he put in a string of impressive performances on the right side of their defence. The 23-year-old found the back of the net three times and secured five assists in 49 matches for Chelsea last season in multiple competitions.

The French talent is currently one of the most talented full-backs in the Premier League. Thus, it is no wonder that the Blues are hoping to land him later this year.

His current contract at Stamford Bridge will run out in the summer of 2030, which could make it difficult for Chelsea to sign him on the cheap this off-season.

SUNDERLAND, ENGLAND – MAY 24: Malo Gusto of Chelsea contends for the aerial ball with Wilson Isidor of Sunderland during the Premier League match between Sunderland and Chelsea at the Stadium of Light on May 24, 2026 in Sunderland, England. He doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the front foot.

The French sensation is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and has got the vision to create some promising chances for his teammates from the right flank. Gusto is primarily a right-back but can also serve as a left-back or as a right-sided wide player if told to do so. He has got enough experience in the Premier League and won’t take much time to adjust to life in the Premier League if Man City manage to snap him up in this transfer window.

We can expect Gusto to inject more quality and depth into Enzo Maresca’s defence. He is capable of securing a regular first-team spot at the Etihad Stadium in the coming seasons.

At 23, Gusto has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a good choice for Man City to consider in this transfer window. All in all, Maresca should focus on going all out to bring him on board this summer.

In a recent report, journalist Mark Brus revealed that Manchester City remain keen on signing…

[4

post-21120","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-chelsea
["GET
