Chelsea want more than \u20ac30million before approving the academy graduate\u2019s departure.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Serie A club must now decide whether to improve its proposal again. Como are also exploring alternative centre-backs in case an agreement with Chelsea cannot be reached.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chalobah remains interested in joining Cesc F\u00e0bregas\u2019 side. The latest development confirms that a package reaching \u20ac30million is still not enough unless the guaranteed amount increases.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Xabi Alonso has several options at centre-back, while Chelsea are also finalising the arrival of Maxence Lacroix from Crystal Palace. His expected signing would increase the competition facing Chalobah next season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selling the 27-year-old would also generate pure profit because he developed in Chelsea\u2019s academy. However, the club are determined to receive what they consider fair value for an experienced Premier League and England defender.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Trevoh Chalobah to Como transfer has therefore not collapsed.
