An immediate loan would give Alajbegovic regular minutes without adding further pressure to Alonso\u2019s crowded squad.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Blues\u2019 need to balance further additions with departures was examined in ReadChelsea\u2019s latest transfer overview, published within the last 24\u201348 hours.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alajbegovic\u2019s representatives have not discussed his salary or the length of a Chelsea contract. Those talks are expected to begin only after the clubs reach an agreement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The winger is due to report for Leverkusen\u2019s pre-season programme on Monday, 27 July. However, he may train separately while negotiations continue to reduce the risk of an injury affecting the potential transfer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leverkusen sold Alajbegovic to Red Bull Salzburg before activating a buyback clause this summer.
