Chelsea are not looking to sell Pedro Neto this summer, according to The Standard.<\/p>\n
Neto has been linked with Manchester City and Liverpool, with both clubs looking to strengthen their attacking options.<\/p>\n
The Cityzens\u2019 interest in the Portuguese forward stems from his previous relationship with manager Enzo Maresca, whom he worked with at Chelsea.<\/p>\n
Liverpool, meanwhile, are considering several alternatives after missing out on Yan Diomande, who is now on the verge of joining Real Madrid.<\/p>\n
The Standard claim no club have contacted Chelsea yet over a deal for Neto, and the club are not prepared to lose him.<\/p>\n
However, it is said that the west London side could reconsider their stance if they receive a serious offer.<\/p>\n
Morgan Rogers\u2019 arrival from Aston Villa has led to suggestions that Neto could struggle for game time next season, with the England international expected to be Chelsea\u2019s first-choice left winger.<\/p>\n
Neto has struggled for consistency since joining Chelsea from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2024. He has scored 19 goals and provided 19 assists in 103 appearances across all competitions.<\/p>\n
With increased competition following Rogers\u2019 arrival, the 26-year-old may need to improve his consistency to nail a regular starting berth under manager Xabi Alonso.<\/p>\n
Neto was not included in Chelsea\u2019s squad for their pre-season tour of Australia and Asia. He is on holiday following his participation with Portugal at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.<\/p>\n
