However, Chelsea have stood firm in negotiations and continue to value Chalobah at £30 million plus £5 million in add-ons, despite ongoing discussions between the two clubs.

Como, managed by former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, first saw an offer worth more than £22 million turned down in June. They have since returned with two improved bids, but neither has been enough to persuade Chelsea to sanction a sale.

The Blues are open to selling Chalobah before the transfer window closes, although only if their valuation is met. His future has come under increased scrutiny as Chelsea close in on the signing of Crystal Palace centre-back Maxence Lacroix in a deal expected to exceed £55 million. Should that move be completed, Chalobah’s route to regular first-team football could become even more restricted under head coach Xabi Alonso.

Chelsea have rejected Como’s third bid for Trevoh Chalobah

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Chalobah enjoyed one of the strongest seasons of his career in 2025-26. The defender made 47 appearances across all competitions, scored twice and earned a late call-up to England’s World Cup squad after replacing the injured Tino Livramento. He also made his tournament debut in England’s dramatic 6-4 victory over France in the third-place play-off.

A Cobham academy graduate, Chalobah has been with Chelsea since the age of eight and signed his current contract in 2022. That deal runs until 2028 and includes the option of a further year, leaving Chelsea under no pressure to accept a cut-price offer.

Como remain hopeful of striking an agreement and a move would reunite Chalobah with Fabregas, who was still at Stamford Bridge when the defender was emerging through the academy. For now, however, Chelsea’s position remains unchanged as they continue to hold out for their full valuation.

Read more – Juventus weigh up move for Man Utd striker Zirkzee

See Also- Juventus explore move for Man Utd captain Fernandes

Follow the Football Faithful on Social Media:

Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | YouTube | TikTok

Chelsea have rejected a third bid from Como for defender Trevoh Chalobah, with the Blues…

[4

post-21803","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-chelsea
["GET
