Chelsea would look to ensure any transfer fee received for Pedro Neto would be proportionate to some of the mammoth figures being quoted for other wide attackers this summer amid growing interest in the former Wolves man.<\/p>\n
Liverpool and Manchester City have both been credited with an interest in Neto, who joined the Blues back in the summer of 2024. Chelsea shelled out \u00a354million to bring the 26-year-old to Stamford Bridge, but the market has exploded in the last couple of years.<\/p>\n
And that means Chelsea will only sell Neto this summer if his suitors are willing to pay a premium price.<\/p>\n
The Mail report that Chelsea have noted some of the figures being placed upon in-demand wingers this summer, such as Bradley Barcola and Yan Diomande. Both players are valued in excess of \u00a3100m.<\/p>\n
While it’s noted that Neto would be unlikely to command such a transfer fee, Chelsea could still ask for a figure which is some way north of the amount they signed him for two years ago.<\/p>\n
Interest from Premier League rivals is not thought to be a surprise to Chelsea; Enzo Maresca favoured Neto as his first-choice right winger while in charge at Stamford Bridge and is keen on working with him again at Manchester City.<\/p>\n
Liverpool are in the market for wide attackers as they revamp their squad following the departure of Mohamed Salah, while there is also interest in Neto from clubs in Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n
Neto is currently on holiday after featuring at the World Cup for Portugal.<\/p>\n

Speaking back in October, just weeks before his explosive exit from Chelsea, Maresca lauded the winger for the improvements he had been showing.<\/p>\n
“He\u2019s top, he’s very humble and working hard,\u2019 Maresca said of Neto.<\/p>\n
“He’s a very important player for us, and we are very happy with Pedro. He’s exactly the same as other players \u2013 he needs to be always 100 per cent, because in the moment that you drop a little bit, mentally or physically, in this league, it’s complicated.”<\/p>\n
