Gittens also believes working under a former elite midfielder and proven title-winning coach can accelerate his development.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gittens faces considerable competition for minutes. Morgan Rogers has arrived from Aston Villa, while Cole Palmer, Pedro Neto, Estev\u00e3o and Geovany Quenda are among Alonso\u2019s other attacking options.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, Gittens has welcomed that competition and believes Rogers can raise Chelsea\u2019s standards. He also said the squad\u2019s ambition is to challenge for every available trophy next season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The next opportunity to strengthen his claim comes against Western Sydney Wanderers.
