John Obi Mikel has warned Chelsea against hiring Cesc Fabregas as their new head coach as it\u2019s a \u201cbit too early\u201d for the Spaniard.<\/p>\n

ON <\/span>THE APP STORE<\/strong><\/p>\n Chelsea are once again searching for a new head coach after sacking Liam Rosenior earlier this month following a run of five consecutive league defeats without scoring.<\/p>\n Rosenior is the second head coach to depart Stamford Bridge this season following the departure of Enzo Maresca in January.<\/p>\n Calum McFarlane has been placed in interim charge for the rest of the season, and it\u2019s believed Chelsea will take their time before appointing Rosenior\u2019s successor.<\/p>\n It\u2019s been reported there are seven or eight names under consideration, with Andoni Iraola thought to be an early front runner.<\/p>\n Chelsea have reportedly reached out to the agent of Xabi Alonso, whilst Fabregas is another name fans would like to see takeover.<\/p>\n Fabregas has spoken on the speculation linking him with Chelsea, but Mikel has warned the Blues against hiring their former midfielder.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a bit too early for Fabregas. We all hear about the success with Como in Italy. But for me, I just think it\u2019s a bit too early. A couple more seasons, establish himself a bit,\u201d he told The Obi One Podcast.<\/p>\n \u201cGet a bit more experience, maybe come to the Premier League, and coach a lesser team than Chelsea.
