A new winger has been added to Tottenham\u2019s shortlist, but the Lilywhites face competition from one of their fierce rivals for the player.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tottenham are expected to sign two wingers and a forward before the transfer window slams shut, but it is unclear at the moment who their top targets are.<\/p>\n

A whole host of wide players from across Europe have been linked with a move to N17 over the last few weeks, but no player looks particularly close to sealing a move to the Premier League side.<\/p>\n

It has now emerged that the Lilywhites have set their sights on a highly-rated 18-year-old winger, who scored a stunning goal at the World Cup.<\/p>\n

Tottenham battling Chelsea for Kerim Alajbegovic<\/h2>\n

Journalist Nicolo Schira has now revealed that Spurs and their London rivals, Chelsea, have both made contact with the representatives of Kerim Alajbegovic.<\/p>\n

The teenager scored 13 goals and provided four assists for the Austrian side last season, and Bayer Leverkusen exercised the option to buy him back this summer.<\/p>\n

The Bosnian international impressed at the World Cup this summer, scoring an exquisite long-range goal in their 3-1 win over Qatar.<\/p>\n

Leverkusen are willing to move the player on for a profit and are demanding \u20ac30m (\u00a326m) for him from the Premier League duo.<\/p>\n

Serie A club have agreement in place with Alajbegovic<\/h2>\n

The two London clubs face competition for the pacy winger from Atalanta, who have done some groundwork on the deal.<\/p>\n

In fact, Atalanta have already agreed personal terms with Alajbegovic, but they are yet to strike an agreement with Leverkusen, with the Serie A side\u2019s \u20ac26m (\u00a322m) offer turned down by the German club.<\/p>\n

Schira wrote on X: \u201cChelsea and Tottenham have approached Kerim Alajbegovic\u2019s agents in the next days to explore a possible deal. Bayer Leverkusen ask 30M to sell the winger, while Atalanta have an agreement with the player, but their last bid (26M) has been rejected by Leverkusen.\u201d<\/p>\n
