Tottenham Hotspur will be interested in the latest developments at River Plate regarding Ian Subiabre after expressing an interest in the teenage starlet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spurs have shown with their acquisition of Souza in January (and previously Alejo Veliz) that they are keeping a close eye on the best emerging talents from South America.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Ian Subiabre is on Tottenham\u2019s radar, and some sources had even claimed Spurs are ready to accelerate their move for the Argentine winger.<\/p>\n

The Lilywhites were allegedly battling London rivals Chelsea for the 19-year-old, whose future is now up in the air following the latest developments at his club.<\/p>\n

River Plate ready to sell Tottenham target Ian Subiabre after huge fallout<\/h2>\n

According to El Intransigente, the Tottenham target\u2019s relationship with River Plate has now completely broken down over recent months.<\/p>\n

Subiabre has been asked to train away from the first-team squad since the start of this month, and his days at the club are now numbered.<\/p>\n

This was after the youngster took part in an \u2018intercountry\u2019 tournament despite being under contract with River, which did not go down well with the Argentine club\u2019s hierarchy.<\/p>\n

The club have decided to part ways with the winger, whose representatives are now working to find him a new team.<\/p>\n

MLS club are advancing over a deal for Subiabre<\/h2>\n

El Intransigente say that Major League Soccer side DC United have now begun talks with River Plate over a deal for the 19-year-old winger.<\/p>\n

River are demanding \u20ac6.8m (\u00a35.9m) to sanction the sale of the academy graduate, with the player willing to move to the United States to continue his career.<\/p>\n

Danish side Midtjylland have also shown \u2018concrete interest\u2019 in Subiabre, but a move to Denmark does not appeal to the Argentina U20 international.<\/p>\n
