Benoit Badiashile is expected to be the latest casualty as Xabi Alonso stages a Chelsea firesale this summer, but the latest reports suggest Chelsea are planning for life without Malo Gusto.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So far this summer, Chelsea have cashed in on Marc Cucurella, Tyrique George, Andrey Santos and Jimmy-Jay Morgan. Alejandro Garnacho has joined Villa on loan with an easily-reached obligation.<\/p>\n

Plenty more departures are expected, with a loan-to-buy deal agreed for Benoit Badiashile to join Napoli. The likes of Trevoh Chalobah, Filip Jorgensen, Liam Delap, Romeo Lavia and plenty more could depart.<\/p>\n

Malo Gusto is another player that could depart, with Man City keen to reunite Enzo Maresca with the Chelsea right-back. A \u00a375m price tag has been placed on his shoulders, and Chelsea are ready to sell.<\/p>\n

France international Gusto is set to return to pre-season training with Chelsea in the next couple of weeks, and thereafter more will be disclosed about whether he will remain at Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n

But an exit seems likely, even if his price tag is enormous. Simon Phillips reports that Gusto is causing issues behind the scenes, and the latest reports suggest Chelsea are planning for life without Gusto.<\/p>\n

Colombian site El Universal reports that Chelsea are in for Daniel Munoz, a teammate of Maxence Lacroix at Palace, this summer. One of the Premier League\u2019s best right-backs, Munoz has starred since his arrival.<\/p>\n

An experienced player, Colombia international Munoz fits the bill in terms of what BlueCo are trying to do, and he would certainly fit Xabi Alonso\u2019s attacking wing-back system. BolaVip say he is rated at \u00a334m.<\/p>\n

Chelsea have already signed Marco Palestra this summer, and the Italy international will be hoping to be first choice at Stamford Bridge next season. Reece James may move into a three-man defence or midfield.<\/p>\n

But with Palestra on board, Josh Acheampong able to play on the right and many other options, the signing of Munoz is a clear indication that Chelsea are looking to replace Gusto, if he does depart.<\/p>\n

While Munoz might not have the resale value of Gusto given he is older at 30, many would argue that he is a better option on the right of the defence than the Frenchman. He would be a superb replacement.<\/p>\n
