Scott Bessent is expected to announce a massive wave of sanctions targeting Iran&#8217;s economy on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Iran\u2019s Supreme National Security Council, Mohsen Rezaei, has vowed that Iran<br \/>\n will retaliate in a &#8220;seismic&#8221; manner to any sanctions. He also warned that any country working to support the sanctions would be committing an &#8220;act of war&#8221; against Iran.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If the economic war continues, not a single drop of oil will be exported\u066b neither through the Strait of Hormuz nor from anywhere in the Persian Gulf.
