He was 80.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\" class=\"speakable\">Curry&#8217;s death was confirmed by his publisher, Jimmy Franco, senior director of publicity at Grand Central Publishing. &#8220;Yes, it is true and very sad indeed.&#8221; Franco added that he did not have a statement to share at this time.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">Curry\u2019s decades-long career included memorable roles in &#8220;It,&#8221; &#8220;Clue&#8221; and &#8220;Annie.&#8221; He suffered a major stroke in 2012 and spent years recovering.
