Halls has been able to forge a presence on social media himself, building a following of close to 28,000 on Instagram, and has spent longer in the modelling world than he did senior football. He is a perfect example of what can be achieved once days of kicking a piece of leather around a patch of grass come to a close.<\/span><\/p>\n On what happens next for a man who has ridden quite the roller coaster professionally, Halls signed off by saying: \u201cAt the moment, I’m really enjoying the ride. I love travelling abroad. I’ve built up now, similar to football, where we’ve got like a squad of models that I’ve known now for many, many years. So, you can be in any country and you’ve got mates there, which is nice. You’ve got that community amongst you. <\/span><\/p>\n \u201cSo, at the moment, it’s just enjoying the ride, looking forward to new trips abroad, new clients, trying your hardest. You’re trying to compete with each other, which is kind of nice. It’s hard to change your face, right? But in terms of football, you would train a little bit harder on that. So, I just try and keep in the gym, stay healthy, keep trying to look good. It’s a nice bit of a competitive thing for me. <\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAnd fragrance is the one. Everyone wants a fragrance, so you can always hope or try and work towards that. And then, travelling abroad, I absolutely love seeing new cultures, seeing mates abroad and that. Ideally, I’d like something for myself, a brand or something, that I could do. But for now, just enjoying the ride and seeing what comes next.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Halls may not be Beckham, but he is a pioneer of sorts. He is living proof that football is not the be all and end all for those that have committed the best part of their lives to chasing that dream.
