Chelsea have been looking at options for Liam Delap as they are unhappy with his progress, with Strasbourg one of those according to our writer Simon Phillips.<\/p>\n

Delap joined Chelsea last summer for \u00a330m from Ipswich, and the Blues fought off interest from a number of Premier League clubs to secure his signature.<\/p>\n

However, his progress was halted by a hamstring injury that kept him out for a large chunk of the first half of the season, but when he\u2019s played he\u2019s simply not delivered.<\/p>\n

Liam Delap not interested in Strasbourg move<\/h2>\n

Delap has scored two goals in 37 appearances in all competitions this season, with just one of those coming in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old hasn\u2019t scored since a 2-1 defeat to Fulham in January, and speculation is already growing over his future.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been reported Delap wants to stay and fight for his place next season, but he is attracting interest from other clubs.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s believed Everton have made Delap one of their targets, and Phillips has reported on his Substack the Blues are exploring options as they aren\u2019t happy with his progress.<\/p>\n

He adds one of those options is Strasbourg, but Delap has turned down the proposal every time it\u2019s been presented and wants to stay at Chelsea.<\/p>\n

Fabregas is a name that\u2019s been linked with the vacant Chelsea job, but he insisted he\u2019s not thinking about it, and believes he\u2019ll be at Como next season.<\/p>\n
