Former Barcelona scout Bojan Krkic has revealed that he is interested in signing Joao Pedro over Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez. <\/span><\/p>\n

Chelsea signed Pedro last summer from Brighton in a deal worth up to \u00a360m, and the Brazilian has had a successful first season to date.<\/p>\n

Pedro has scored 19 goals in all competitions, with 14 of those coming in the Premier League, and he\u2019s made the number nine position his own.<\/p>\n

Barcelona advised to sign Joao Pedro over Julian Alvarez<\/h2>\n

Pedro still has a chance to become the first Chelsea striker since Diego Costa to score 20 league goals in a season, but would need six goals in the last four games.<\/p>\n

His form hasn\u2019t gone unnoticed, and Pedro has been linked with Spanish champions Barcelona, and one of their former scouts believes he\u2019d be a better fit for the club than Alvarez.<\/p>\n

\u201cJoao Pedro is ideal for the Barca system,\u201d he told Cadena Ser as quoted by Barca Blaugranes.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI would bet on Joao Pedro rather than Juli\u00e1n, I like him more. Overall, Juli\u00e1n is still a great player. He finishes, he plays well, he is very complete. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cPedro is similar to Juli\u00e1n but he is more of a goal scorer and a better player.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
