Trevoh Chalobah hit back with an 11-word response to a Chelsea fan who said he would play for Leeds United next season following the Blues\u2019 FA Cup semi-final win.<\/p>\n
Chalobah played the full 90 minutes of Sunday\u2019s game at Wembley as Enzo Fernandez\u2019s first-half goal gave the Blues a 1-0 win. At the full-time whistle, Chalobah displayed a show of emotion, turning toward Leeds United fans, letting out a loud roar before making a shushing gesture.<\/p>\n

However, not all Chelsea fans were pleased with his outburst, with one fan tweeting:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/template><\/p>\n \u201cHe needs to relax he’s going there next season.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Chalobah did not take kindly to the remark, as he quoted the tweet, saying:<\/p>\n \u201cNa you need for relax, even your shadow no believe you\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The 26-year-old came through the ranks at Chelsea and played across different age brackets before being promoted to the senior team in 2021. To date, he has made 148 appearances for the Stamford Bridge outfit across all competitions.<\/p>\n He has been a mainstay at the club this season and recently said he and his Blues teammates have to take responsibility following Liam Rosenior\u2019s sacking.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen a manager goes, it is difficult. You obviously spend time with them and work with them daily, so you have to adapt and reset again. We have to look at ourselves as players and take responsibility from now until the end of the season. It is about not making excuses, going again and trying to win our games.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Speaking to the media after Chelsea arrested their slide with a win over Leeds, Chalobah urged his teammates to build on the victory, insisting that they have five finals ahead.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s another final for us,\u201d he told the club\u2019s website. \u201cLast year we were in finals (UEFA Conference League and Club World Cup) and the year before too (with the Carabao Cup). So, we have that mentality, and it\u2019s good that we showed that. We all knew what the goal was: to win no matter what. For us, it’s just focusing on what we have. There are another five finals ahead: four in the Premier League and then, obviously, here (at Wembley) in the FA Cup. We have to go into them with the quality and hunger that we know we can show.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n In the semi-final against Leeds, Chalobah made 11 defensive contributions, including nine clearances. He was not dribbled past and received a match rating of 7.0, according to Sofascore.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
