Jarrod Bowen\u2019s long-term future could indeed be at West Ham United, pending one obvious condition. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Bowen has vowed not to give up on West\u00a0Ham\u00a0and his performances this season certainly prove that. <\/p>\n

As is\u00a0seemingly always\u00a0the case, however, Bowen has been linked with a summer transfer to Chelsea. <\/p>\n

Previous\u00a0reports have claimed that West Ham United may need to sell players this\u00a0summer\u00a0and\u00a0captain Bowen would certainly look like a prime\u00a0candidate\u00a0on that front. <\/p>\n

Still, following claims that West Ham will fight to keep Bowen this summer, talkSPORT\u2019s Alex Crook has provided an update. <\/p>\n

Bowen set to stay at West Ham if they avoid relegation <\/h2>\n

Crook was speaking alongside Gabby Agbonlahor and commentator Sam Matterface about West Ham\u2019s chances of staying in the Premier League this season. <\/p>\n

Reflecting on Bowen claiming that staying in the Premier League would mean more than winning the Conference League in 2023, Crook said: \u201cI also think if West Ham go down, he knows he\u2019s got to have a difficult conversation with his father-in-law (Danny Dyer), hasn\u2019t he? <\/p>\n

\u201cIf West Ham stay up, I think he\u2019ll stay but if they go, obviously he will have to go as well.\u201d <\/p>\n

That is fantastic news for supporters here in east London and beyond. Indeed, it means that West Ham are currently on course to keep him for another season. <\/p>\n

West Ham favourites to avoid relegation in the Premier League <\/h2>\n

Clearly, all of that could change should results slide in the final four games of the season. <\/p>\n

However, West Ham are currently\u00a0favourites\u00a0to stay up instead of Tottenham, assuming those two are the ones battling it out to avoid\u00a0joining Wolves and Burnley in the Championship next season. <\/p>\n

Bowen has played a key role in getting to that point, bagging eight goals while registering ten assists \u2013 the bulk of which came when the club started the day in the bottom three. <\/p>\n

Clearly, Bowen\u00a0loves\u00a0playing for\u00a0West Ham and has deep roots in the area, of which much is made. <\/p>\n

It, however, is still difficult to imagine a player of his stature playing in the Championship, no matter how much he loves the club. <\/p>\n

Everything depends on what happens between now and May. <\/p>\n
