Joe Cole has warned Alejandro Garnacho he needs to \u201creally toe the line\u201d if he wants to become more popular with Blues supporters.<\/span><\/p>\n

Garnacho arrived in a deal worth \u00a340m from Manchester United last summer, but the 21-year-old has really struggled to make an impact.<\/p>\n

The Argentina international has managed just one Premier League goal this season, and the fan base haven\u2019t particularly warmed to him.<\/p>\n

Joe Cole offers advice to Alejandro Garnacho<\/h2>\n

Garnacho has shown moments of quality, but he\u2019s really lacked consistency, and more often than not he\u2019s failed to deliver on the pitch this season.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been reported Chelsea are open to selling Garnacho this summer after just one season at the club, and things simply haven\u2019t worked out so far.<\/p>\n

Garnacho is regularly booed by opposition supporters, and Cole has warned the Argentine he needs to tread carefully if he wants to endear himself to Chelsea fans.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s always been signs he (Garnacho) can be a top player,\u201d he said as quoted by The Standard.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWith Alejandro it can be the noise around him sometimes. To be fair to him, there\u2019s not been too much this season. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBut when there\u2019s historic issues (with Manchester United), then as a player you have to really toe the line.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf I was advising him, I\u2019d say he needs to find a homeland where he\u2019s going to be settled and happy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThe Chelsea fans are a little bit disgruntled with him at the moment, and I agree that he hasn\u2019t played well. But he\u2019s not been dreadful; he\u2019s just not at his best.\u201d<\/p>\n
