Chelsea are one of four clubs to have made an enquiry for Brentford striker Igor Thiago according to reports in Brazil.<\/p>\n

Having been quiet in January the Blues are once again expected to be busy in the summer, with a number of positions in the squad needing to be addressed.<\/p>\n

Chelsea are said to still be in the market for a centre back, whilst it\u2019s believed they want to add another midfielder and attacker.<\/p>\n

Chelsea make Igor Thiago enquiry<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s a critical summer for the Blues, and it\u2019s been reported they\u2019re prepared to sign more players with proven Premier League experience.<\/p>\n

Co-owner Behdad Eghbali has said the model will be tweaked, but fans will only believe it when they see action taken.<\/p>\n

Chelsea have been linked with Morgan Rogers, and now it appears they have another Premier League attacker on their radar.<\/p>\n

ESPN Brazil journalist Felipe Silva has reported the Blues are one of four clubs to have made an enquiry for Thiago.<\/p>\n

He took to X.com and said:<\/p>\n

\u201cAbout Igor Thiago: Brentford knows it will be tough to hold onto him after the Cup (even more so if he\u2019s called up). <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAtl\u00e9tico de Madrid, Chelsea, Juventus, and Milan have made inquiries (Italian football is a less likely path, clubs aren\u2019t expected to meet Brentford\u2019s asking price) <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Premier League club is setting a sale price around 80 million pounds (R$ 540 million).\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Thiago has been in outstanding form this season, and the 24-year-old has scored 24 goals in 36 appearances, with 21 of those coming in the league.<\/p>\n

Chelsea will have five strikers on their books come the end of the season, with Nicolas Jackson returning from Bayern Munich, and Emmanuel Emegha arriving from Strasbourg.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been reported it\u2019s likely at least two of the five will be sold, with Marc Guiu, Liam Delap and Jackson all candidates to leave the club, but a decision is unlikely to be taken before the new head coach is appointed.<\/p>\n
