Chelsea host Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge on Monday afternoon and Paul Merson has given his prediction.<\/p>\n

The Blues returned to winning ways with a 1-0 win against Leeds in the FA Cup semi final at Wembley, but are in desperate need of three points in the league.<\/p>\n

Chelsea have lost their last five league games without scoring, and currently sit eighth, ten points adrift of Aston Villa in the final Champions League place.<\/p>\n

Paul Merson makes Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest prediction<\/h2>\n

Interim head coach Calum McFarlane will take charge of his first game at Stamford Bridge, with Forest also in need of points to guarantee their survival.<\/p>\n

Chelsea have been handed a boost with Reece James and Levi Colwill both back in full training, and they could be part of the squad for the game.<\/p>\n

With just four games remaining the pressure is on, and the Blues have won just six league games at home this season.<\/p>\n

Forest may have half an eye on the second leg of their Europe League semi final against Villa next week, and Merson has given his prediction.<\/p>\n

\u201cChelsea <\/span>reached the FA Cup final last weekend,\u201d he told Sportskeeda.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf they go on and win that trophy, which is a big, massive ask, I think it counts as a huge achievement this season.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf Villa finish fifth and win the Europa League, which is likely, Chelsea can still play Champions League football because they are only two points behind Brighton in sixth-place.<\/p>\n

\u201cMorgan Gibbs-White has been in stunning form. I don\u2019t think he gets a call-up to the England squad for the World Cup though.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe audition window has run out now. I don\u2019t think Forest will be relegated, but I think they will lose this game.<\/p>\n
