Former Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso has been \u2018betrayed\u2019 by Liverpool and will now \u2018consider\u2019 the Chelsea job, according to reports.<\/p>\n
The Reds have been in disappointing form for most of this season after Arne Slot won the Premier League title last term.<\/p>\n

I think just from the career he\u2019s had as a player, all the massive clubs he\u2019s played for, he\u2019s managed Real Madrid as well.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was forced out by the Real Madrid dressing room, but it\u2019s different level of dressing room, even to Chelsea\u2019s, and I think he would immediately command the respect of the Chelsea players.
