Transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on the Elliot Anderson to Manchester City saga, with Manchester United also still there.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Although nothing is advanced with Man City and Nottingham Forest yet, it seems that Pep Guardiola\u2019s side would be willing to make a big offer for Anderson this summer.<\/p>\n

Romano says City are leading the race for the England international\u2019s signature, as has also been reported by Sky Sports.<\/p>\n

It could be that City\u2019s major offer will eventually end up deciding this saga, but while it\u2019s looking good for the Sky Blues, it\u2019s not a done deal yet and a lot can change.<\/p>\n

Should Elliot Anderson choose Man City or Man United transfer?<\/h2>\n

If Anderson is to leave Forest this summer, he clearly looks set to have his pick of elite clubs, with City surely the most tempting destination.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old would likely be given a key role in Guardiola\u2019s side, who need a long-term replacement for Rodri, who is not getting any younger and who has had injury problems in recent times.<\/p>\n
