Some of the entourage of Marco Silva are working with the Chelsea board to make him the club\u2019s next head coach according to journalist Sebastien Vidal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chelsea are once again looking for another head coach following the sacking of Liam Rosenior last month, who lasted less than four months in charge.<\/p>\n

Rosenior is the second head coach to leave Stamford Bridge this season following the departure of Enzo Maresca in January.<\/p>\n

Entourage of Marco Silva working on Chelsea move<\/h2>\n

Calum McFarlane has been placed in interim charge for the remainder of the season, whilst the sporting directors conduct their head coach search.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s believed to be seven or eight names under consideration, with Andoni Iraola thought to be an early front runner.<\/p>\n

Silva is said to be another name under consideration, and his agent Jorge Mendes is thought to have a good relationship with the Chelsea board.<\/p>\n

Sam Allardyce has advised Silva not to take the job, and Vidal has now reported what members of his entourage are doing.<\/p>\n

He took to X.com and said:<\/p>\n

\u201cSome in the entourage of the Portuguese coach are working with the board to make him the future coach of the Blues.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Chelsea are unlikely to make an appointment before the end of the season, and David Ornstein thinks a new head coach will be in place early in the summer.<\/p>\n
