Reece James and Levi Colwill could be involved in Chelsea\u2019s game against Nottingham Forest on Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n Blues interim boss Calum McFarlane has confirmed that both defenders are looking \u201cpromising\u201d ahead of the match at Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n Club captain James has been plagued by injury problems this season and has not featured since mid March, while Colwill has been out with a toe injury.<\/p>\n However, both have trained his week as they step up their recoveries.<\/p>\n \u201cReece is back in training, Levi\u2019s back in training,\u201d McFarlane said.<\/p>\n \u201cBoth are looking good. They are a little bit away from the game, so we will see how they do day by day, but both are looking promising.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are taking it day by day. Obviously Levi has had a long injury and Reece had a really good run and has been injured again.<\/p>\n \u201cThere are a lot of games still to play, so we don\u2019t want to push too much, but we\u2019re taking it day by day and hopefully they come through.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not ruling out either of them. They could be involved in the squad.\u201d<\/p>\n James is on the verge of a significant milestone, with his next league appearance set to be his 200th for Chelsea.<\/p>\n Despite his injury frustrations, McFarlane praised the 24-year-old\u2019s influence behind the scenes during his time in charge.<\/p>\n \u201cReece has been brilliant from the day I stepped up in January,\u201d McFarlane added.<\/p>\n \u201cEven though he\u2019s still young, he is massively experienced.
