Spurs\u2019 youngsters are stepping into the spotlight, with a major occasion now lined up at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as the club\u2019s U21s continue their impressive run.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Tottenham Hotspur first-team squad has struggled on the pitch for most of this season, with their Premier League campaign leaving a lot to be desired.<\/p>\n

Spurs are in the bottom three of the league and are also out of all domestic competitions, with the furthest they went in the cup runs being the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.<\/p>\n

However, the Under-21s are not in a similar debacle, as they are making strides in their own competition, having now reached a major milestone in their division.<\/p>\n

Tottenham U21s reach Premier League 2 semi-finals after Chelsea win<\/h2>\n

The Spurs Under-21s have now made it to the semi-finals of the Premier League 2 play-offs following their 3-1 win over Chelsea in the quarter-finals.<\/p>\n

Wayne Burnett\u2019s side advanced to the last four after a comeback win on Friday night, thanks to goals from Mason Melia, Reiss Russell-Denny and Leo Black at Kingsmeadow.<\/p>\n

The PL2 side is now set to face one of the winners of Monday\u2019s quarter-final between Brighton & Hove Albion and West Ham United. <\/p>\n

Interestingly, Tottenham fans can watch their young side take to the pitch at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where the match is set to take place on Friday, 8 May.<\/p>\n

This will be the first Under-21 match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since Spurs\u2019 PL2 side won the Premier League 2 title via a play-off final victory over Sunderland in 2024.<\/p>\n

Spurs youngsters set for big stage opportunity at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium<\/h2>\n

This is a good opportunity for many Tottenham fans to see some of the club\u2019s academy talent live in action, with the likes of Mason Melia, Tynan Thompson and Reiss Russell-Denny very likely to feature.<\/p>\n

The players will certainly be hoping to be spurred on by the fans as they push for another Premier League 2 title, two years on from their last win.<\/p>\n

Tottenham fans have certainly been strong in their support for the senior squad as they fight to avoid the drop, and if similar backing is given to the youngsters, it will be a proud moment for them.<\/p>\n
