Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are unlikely to face competition from Barcelona for Ajax star Mika Godts this summer.<\/strong><\/p>\n Journalist Matteo Moretto reports that the Catalan giants simply aren\u2019t interested in the 20-year-old, despite reports to the contrary. Voetbal Primeur report his comments today.<\/p>\n Mika Godts appears destined for a big money move this summer after establishing himself as a rising star in Europe at Ajax this season.<\/p>\n The youngster has 16 goals and 13 assists in 39 games for Ajax this season, including a superb solo goal in 2-0 win over NAC Breda that made headlines. All in all, the youngster has 24 goals and 23 assists in 106 games for the Dutch giants since his debut.<\/p>\n The Premier League is already circling. Sport Witness covered a report that stated Arsenal and Chelsea have already sent scouts. Manchester City and Manchester United are also in the mix. Godts has been urged to avoid a move to the Etihad, though.<\/p>\n A report in the Netherlands also put Barcelona in the mix as well. But, speaking to Radio Marca, Matteo Moretto insisted that\u2019s not the case.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ll tell you something else, the name of Mika Godts, the Ajax winger, has come up often,\u201d he said on Marca radio programme La Pizarra de Quintana.<\/p>\n \u201cHe is very good, very talented, and has already been offered to Bar\u00e7a multiple times. Bar\u00e7a does not want to pursue this option further at the moment.<\/p>\n \u201cThey are not interested. They prefer a profile with much more experience, a winning profile.\u201d<\/p>\n With Barcelona seemingly not keen, Mika Godts has an interesting decision to make about his future this summer.<\/p>\n If the big clubs come calling, does he jump from Ajax at that point. Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United all have the money to offer Ajax what they want. And give the youngster a big contract as well.<\/p>\n But the question is whether any of those sides would be best for his future. Afterall, he\u2019s benefitted from regular playing time and exposure to the Eredivisie and Europe at Ajax. It\u2019ll be a different story completely in the Premier League.<\/p>\n The growing sentiment in the Netherlands is that he should look for an intermediate step.
