Chelsea\u2018s bleak afternoon at Stamford Bridge, a 1\u20133 home defeat to Nottingham Forest, stretched their losing streak in the\u00a0Premier League\u00a0to six games, leaving the FA Cup as their last real chance at a trophy this season. It\u2019s another low point for Chelsea that has to receive close attention.<\/p>\n

How did it all fall apart against Forest?<\/h3>\n

Forest took the lead in just the second minute when Taiwo Awoniyi headed home a Dilane Bakwa cross at the back post. Chelsea seemed stunned and never really recovered. Robert S\u00e1nchez started okay, but with the defence collapsing in front of him, he didn\u2019t stand much of a chance \u2014 5\/10.<\/p>\n

Malo Gusto handed Forest their second from the spot after a blatant shirt-pull caught by VAR; he tried to get forward afterwards, but none of that running led to anything useful \u2014 5\/10.<\/p>\n

Trevoh Chalobah looked lost against long balls and was constantly caught out of position \u2014 5\/10.<\/p>\n

Tosin Adarabioyo also struggled with Awoniyi\u2019s physicality, a far cry from his solid performance at Wembley last week \u2014 5\/10.<\/p>\n

Marc Cucurella had a nightmare: he was far too soft for the opening goal, and his basic defending was well below par \u2014 4\/10.<\/p>\n

A midfield and attack that went missing<\/h3>\n

Rom\u00e9o Lavia kept things neat but couldn\u2019t actually break down Forest\u2019s setup \u2014 5.5\/10.<\/p>\n

Mois\u00e9s Caicedo put in the work defensively, but he let Morgan Gibbs-White get goal-side of him for Forest\u2019s third and picked up a late yellow card \u2014 5.5\/10.<\/p>\n

Enzo Fern\u00e1ndez was easily Chelsea\u2019s best player, hitting the woodwork early and always trying to make things happen \u2014 7\/10.<\/p>\n

Jesse Derry looked bright in his first Premier League start until a nasty head injury forced him off \u2014 6.5\/10.<\/p>\n

Cole Palmer\u2019s penalty miss just before the break summed up a worrying slump in form right before the World Cup \u2014 4.5\/10.<\/p>\n

Filip J\u00f6rgensen came on for the injured S\u00e1nchez after 66 minutes but had almost nothing to do \u2014 5.5\/10.<\/p>\n

Levi Colwill replaced Tosin at the half and looked much steadier in the backline \u2014 6\/10.<\/p>\n

Liam Delap added some spark late in the game but couldn\u2019t find a gap in a disciplined Forest defence \u2014 5.5\/10.<\/p>\n
