The Blues made a slow start to the contest and conceded the opener in the second-minute when Taiwo Awoniyi found the back of the net. Igor Jesus doubled his team\u2019s lead from the penalty spot in the 15th minute as the West London club went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.<\/p>\n
Awoniyi put daylight between the two sides in the 52nd minute before Joao Pedro grabbed a consolation goal for Chelsea in injury time. The match finished with the Blues suffering a disappointing 3-1 loss in front of their home fans.<\/p>\n
