Roberto De Zerbi decided against giving himself a day off on Monday after seeing his side pick up a crucial win against Aston Villa.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spurs fans will be breathing much easier now than they have been for the past couple of months after seeing Tottenham deliver a dominant display at Villa Park and emerge 2-1 winners.<\/p>\n

The result came after West Ham fell to a 3-0 loss at Brentford on Saturday, which means that the Lilywhites are now out of the bottom three.<\/p>\n

De Zerbi was extremely complimentary of his players for the spirit and quality they showed on Sunday, and it appears that the Italian is already preparing for his side\u2019s upcoming game.<\/p>\n

Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi spotted at Stamford Bridge<\/h2>\n

Nottingham Forest have all but secured their Premier League status after a dominant 3-1 win at Chelsea on Monday, which has seen them move five points clear of the Lilywhites.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, De Zerbi was spotted watching on from the stands at Stamford Bridge as Forest put the West London club to the sword.<\/p>\n

While the Italian may have preferred a different result, he was likely present in order to get a better look at Chelsea, who are one of Tottenham\u2019s three remaining opponents this season.<\/p>\n

The Lilywhites travel to Stamford Bridge on May 19 for their penultimate game of the season, and there could be a huge amount riding on the fixture.<\/p>\n

Chelsea will likely bring their A-game against Spurs<\/h2>\n

Tottenham fans will take heart from the fact that the Blues are in a terrible run of form at the moment.<\/p>\n

Chelsea will also be involved in FA Cup final action three days before the London derby, which may give the away side the advantage.<\/p>\n

However, there is nothing Chelsea fans will love more than being the ones to relegate Tottenham, and Spurs should expect their rivals to make things extremely difficult for them.<\/p>\n

Given the passion that De Zerbi and his players have shown over recent weeks, some will wonder if the battle of the bridge 2.0 is on the cards.<\/p>\n
