West Ham welcome Arsenal to the London Stadium in what is the biggest game for both clubs in years and both Thierry Henry and Jamie Carragher have strong views.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After a dismal 3-0 defeat at Brentford, the Hammers are back in the bottom three with three games to go.<\/p>\n

\n

Now West Ham need a result against Arsenal to give themselves any realistic hope of Premier League survival.<\/p>\n

But Arsenal have a first league title in 22 years on the line and in their control after Man City dropped points against Everton.<\/p>\n

Henry says West Ham game has always been his worry for Arsenal<\/h2>\n

It sets up a London derby of monumental proportions given what is at stake.<\/p>\n

West Ham have put a spanner in the works for Arsenal\u2019s title ambitions in each of the last three seasons.<\/p>\n

If the Hammers can do that again then it would give Nuno Espirito Santo\u2019s side a huge boost in the battle for survival.<\/p>\n

And it would taste even sweeter if it denied Declan Rice a first major trophy since his \u00a3105m move to Arsenal.<\/p>\n

Now Gunners legend Thierry Henry has made an honest West Ham admission ahead of the pivotal Arsenal clash \u2013 and Jamie Carragher agrees.<\/p>\n

Henry says his worry for Arsenal\u2019s run-in has always been the game away at West Ham.<\/p>\n

And Carragher agrees, saying West Ham will be the game that scares Arsenal as he backed the Hammers to get a point from the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt (the game at West Ham) was always my worry,\u201d Henry said on Monday Night Football.<\/p>\n

Carragher says Arsenal will be \u2018scared\u2019 of West Ham clash<\/h2>\n

\u201cI always thought that (Man) City might drop points against Everton and my worry was West Ham away.<\/p>\n

\u201cEspecially after the (Champions League semi-final second leg) game against Atletico Madrid because you have either made the final or you don\u2019t, either way sometimes you go a bit too high (with emotions) or too low and then go into a game against a team that\u2019s trying to stay up.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo that was always my worry with the final schedule, the game at West Ham\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re playing for survival, it\u2019s going to be very difficult to play against a team like West Ham. Again, what\u2019s going to happen with Arsenal in the Champions League? Are you coming on a high and celebrating a final or missing a final? Either way that (West Ham) won\u2019t be an easy game.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carragher agreed with Henry, saying Arsenal fans and players will be \u2018scared\u2019 of facing the Hammers with everything that is at stake for both sides.<\/p>\n

The Sky Sports pundit says West Ham did not play badly against Brentford and says they must not get \u2018too emotional\u2019 about the result before they face the Gunners.<\/p>\n

\u201cListen you expect Arsenal to win, but I was at this game a few years ago and I think it finished 2-2 and I remember the atmosphere there, a London derby, a lot at stake,\u201d Carragher said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn some ways Arsenal might be thinking \u2018I wish West Ham would have won (at Brentford)\u2019 because there\u2019s almost this desperation right now in that game.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe atmosphere will be fantastic, it will be a great game to watch and I think most Arsenal fans, a bit like you Thierry, that\u2019s the one they\u2019re looking at that really worries and scares them.\u201d<\/p>\n

A West Ham win coupled with a Spurs draw or defeat against Leeds would see Nuno\u2019s side climb back out of the relegation zone with two games to go.<\/p>\n

If West Ham draw and Spurs lose they will go level on points with Roberto De Zerbi\u2019s side but remain in the bottom three on goal difference.<\/p>\n

After Arsenal, the Hammers go to Newcastle before hosting Leeds on the final day. Spurs play Chelsea away and Everton at home in their last two.<\/p>\n
