Marcel Desailly believes Enzo Fernandez is being overworked and has called on the Blues to sign first choice internationals this summer.<\/p>\n

The Blues were quiet in January, but are expected to once again be busy in the summer, with a number of positions in the squad needing to be addressed.<\/p>\n

Chelsea are reportedly still in the market for a centre back, whilst they are said to want to add another midfielder and attacker.<\/p>\n

Marcel Desailly calls on Chelsea to sign first choice internationals<\/h2>\n

However, following the sacking of Liam Rosenior on Wednesday the Blues now also need to appoint a new head coach this summer.<\/p>\n

Who that\u2019ll be remains to be seen, but it could certainly have an impact on who wants to join the club, and potentially which current players want to stay.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been reported Chelsea are open to signing players with proven Premier League experience this summer, but fans will believe it when they see it.<\/p>\n

Co-owner Behdad Eghbali has said the model will be tweaked this summer, and Desailly has called on the Blues to sign first choice internationals.<\/p>\n

\u201cChelsea need first choice internationals,\u201d he told GFFN.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOk, there\u2019s Enzo Fern\u00e1ndez. But you have a goalkeeper who is on and off. They have a decent defence but they need experience, international starters, Wesley Fofana isn\u2019t starting for France. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe same at centre-forward \u2013 they need a renowned international striker who can identify those key moments when the team needs a bit of individual brilliance to make the difference.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Desailly also believes Enzo Fernandez is being overworked, and that is creating chaos in the Chelsea team from a creative standpoint.<\/p>\n
