But according to Carragher, they had one as recently as January and let him go.<\/p>\n \u201cThey had that manager in Maresca. I was really impressed with the work that Maresca did. Then there was a clash of personalities,\u201d Carragher said.<\/p>\n \u201cBut once you get a manager that starts winning trophies, understandably he wants more power. That\u2019s normal, that\u2019s what top managers. They\u2019re going to have to deal with that in the future if they do get a top manager or someone successful \u2013 they missed out on Maresca.\u201d<\/p>\n It does seem like an inevitability that any coach will demand more power if they succeed.
