Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has put out his latest information on Chelsea\u2019s new manager search this week.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Blues fans are eagerly anticipating any news on who the next manager might be. Some of them are desperate for news in fact.<\/p>\n

But the fact is at the moment, I don\u2019t think any of us will know who the new manager will be until the end of the season, which is when the club are expected to announce them.<\/p>\n

There is a load of speculation flying around in the mean time though, but none of it is holding much weight to it at the moment. Even news of Xavi being contacted yesterday was quickly shut down by top sources.<\/p>\n

Romano\u2019s latest on manager search<\/h2>\n

Romano reported yesterday:<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is nothing ongoing between Chelsea and Xavi Hernandez. That\u2019s my understanding as of today.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf tomorrow morning they decide to meet. I will let you know. But as of today, beginning of May, zero contacts between Xavi and Chelsea.<\/p>\n

\u201cChelsea continued their process to find a new manager. The feeling at the club is that they are still at early stages, talking to candidates, representatives of candidates, and preparing the final list. But still nothing advanced, still nothing decided.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In other news today..<\/h2>\n

Chelsea\u2019s transfer of Joao Pedro worked out, and the club will surely try to repeat the trick this summer in the market. He\u2019s been a rare example of buying proven quality for the here and now.<\/p>\n

Chelsea have ruled out an\u00a0attempt to bring Xavi Hernandez in as their new manager according to Ben Jacobs\u2019 reporting today. What\u2019s odd is that it was Jacobs who reported Chelsea made contact with Xavi just moments before he said this!?<\/p>\n
