Chelsea have seemingly made an approach to Xavi to take over as the club\u2019s new permanent manager at the end of the season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

BlueCo are again looking for a new permanent head coach after parting ways with Liam Rosenior after he lasted just three months in charge.<\/p>\n

Calum McFarlane is in temporary control at the moment, however has already shown signs of struggling after losing 3-1 in his first match at Stamford Bridge against Nottingham Forest.<\/p>\n

Chelsea approach Xavi about becoming new permanent manager<\/h2>\n

There are a number of candidates from the Premier League and beyond on the club\u2019s shortlist, with Xavi reportedly keen on a move to England to continue his coaching career.<\/p>\n

According to TalkSPORT, Chelsea have reached out to the 46-year-old about becoming their new manager, a role that will certainly come with its pressures.<\/p>\n

Blues supporters are currently losing their patience with the club on an ownership level, and need to see performances and results on the pitch to start to turn around their feelings.<\/p>\n

Another protest from Chelsea fans is set for the FA Cup final at Wembley, as they look to get a widespread acknowledgment of their issues.<\/p>\n

Xavi won La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup during his time in charge of Barcelona, and has previously worked with current Chelsea striker Marc Guiu.<\/p>\n

Chelsea are not expected to make an announcement over the new manager until the end of the season, suggesting they may also be targeting a manager who is currently in a job.<\/p>\n

Andoni Iraola is reportedly at the top of Behdad Eghbali\u2019s list, and is set to leave Bournemouth at the end of the season.<\/p>\n

However, many will be cautious at any decision the Chelsea owner wants to make, given his track record of getting things wrong in West London.<\/p>\n
