A reported \u20ac40m asking price makes him very tempting, with Liverpool, Man U, Tottenham and Aston Villa also mentioned in this piece.<\/p>\n Chelsea are \u201cimpressed\u201d by the Ecuador star\u2019s development, and have been watching him domestically and in the Champions League this season.<\/p>\n Ordonez looks like a really top prospect, there\u2019s no doubting that. He\u2019s physically superb and is developing the technical and mental side of his game rapidly.<\/p>\n But he is not the Premier League experienced defender that we\u2019ve heard that Chelsea are going to push for. We\u2019ve signed plenty of talented youngsters from Europe in that position and they\u2019ve not worked out.
