Since then, the dynamic has shifted a little. Palmer\u2019s poor form now stretches back more than a year, and he looks physically and mentally a long way off his best.<\/p>\n Kieran Gill\u2019s piece for the Daily Mail today claims that Chelsea sources \u201cinsist\u201d that the club \u201cintend on strengthening their squad\u201d this summer rather than weakening it. They also claim there\u2019s no financial need to sell either.<\/p>\n The question now, however is not if Chelsea need<\/em> to sell, but if they\u2019d actually be quite tempted to if a huge offer came in.<\/p>\n Are they ready to cash in? The fan backlash they\u2019d receive decreases with every tepid performance from the attacker.<\/p>\n Jesse Derry had a promising debut for the Blues on Monday, before it was cut short.
