Chelsea have made it clear to Joao Pedro that they will not entertain any offers for him this summer, despite interest from Barcelona.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A dismal season at Stamford Bridge has not taken away from the individual brilliance of Joao Pedro, who has 20 goals and nine assists in all competitions this season.<\/p>\n

Pedro has formed a strong relationship with the likes of Enzo Fernandez and other key players, and has been one of the best signings the club have made during the BlueCo ownership.<\/p>\n

Chelsea say no to Joao Pedro leaving to join Barcelona<\/h2>\n

His brilliance has clearly seen him gather the attention of some of the biggest clubs in world football, and Deco is pushing to bring him to Barcelona in the summer.<\/p>\n

However, Simon Phillips has stated that Chelsea will outright reject any proposals from the La Liga giants, despite Pedro bringing up the conversation to his agents.<\/p>\n

He said on his Substack: \u201cWe\u2019ve also heard from top sources that Pedro has spoken with his agents about a move to Barcelona, indicating that he would be keen to move there and to see if it was possible this summer.<\/p>\n

\u201cHowever, Chelsea will reject any attempts that Barcelona make to sign Pedro, and they will reject any desire he shows to join them. Pedro is under a long contract and was only signed last summer, so any move will not be entertained.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s important to say that Pedro has not told Chelsea he wants out to this point, and he is not currently doing anything to force a move.\u201d<\/p>\n

BlueCo\u2019s long-term plan of handing out long contracts to their key players who join is actually protecting them in this situation.<\/p>\n

Chelsea prepared to sell strikers this summer<\/h2>\n
