Chelsea are in desperate need of experience and should attempt to make a move for Liverpool\u2019s Andy Robertson according to Didi Hamann.<\/p>\n

The Blues are having a dismal season and currently sit ninth in the league with just three games remaining, although they are in the FA Cup final.<\/p>\n

Monday\u2019s defeat to Nottingham Forest means Chelsea are on a run of six league defeats in a row, and they travel to Anfield on Saturday to face Liverpool.<\/p>\n

Chelsea should try and sign Andy Robertson<\/h2>\n

Chelsea face a critical summer in more ways than one, with the Blues needing to appoint a new head coach, and add serious reinforcements to their squad.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been reported Chelsea are prepared to add more players with proven Premier League experience this summer.<\/p>\n

Co-owner Behdad Eghbali has said the model will be tweaked, but fans will only believe it when they actually see action taken.<\/p>\n

Chelsea lack leadership, experience and know how in the squad, and Hamann thinks they should make a move for Robertson.<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes when things go badly, as they have now, the run of form is dreadful, you need experienced players who can calm young players down, where a young player looks up and somebody says to him, \u2018Listen, lad, don\u2019t worry about it, we\u2019ll be fine,’\u201d he said as quoted by Metro.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cA player like Andy Robertson, they should take him in a heartbeat. I think he\u2019s exactly the type of player Chelsea needs or is crying out for.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith one or two more experienced players, they\u2019ve got to give themselves a chance. I don\u2019t think the way the team is put together, they give themselves a chance.<\/p>\n

\u201cAndy Robertson, I\u2019d take him at Chelsea in a heartbeat if he was interested.\u201d<\/p>\n
