id="h-chelsea-fans-organise-a-protest-ahead-of-their-clash-against-tottenham">Chelsea fans organise a protest ahead of their clash against Tottenham

Spurs travel to Stamford Bridge on March 19 for their penultimate game of the season, with the result potentially set to have a huge bearing on the relegation fight.

Chelsea fans would love nothing more than to see their side relegating Tottenham, but the Blues have been in poor form of late, which is why De Zerbi’s men may go to West London hopeful of picking up a win.

The Athletic have now revealed that Chelsea fans have organised a protest during the big London derby.

A Chelsea fan group have now confirmed plans for their fans to turn their back on the pitch at 22 minutes as a means to express their discontent at the mismanagement of the ownership and leadership structure.

Tottenham fans know exactly what that feels like, and there could potentially be a toxic atmosphere at Stamford Bridge, particularly if the Lilywhites take the lead early, given the anger against the Chelsea owners.

With the West London club seemingly in turmoil, Spurs will look to take advantage and pick up their first win at Chelsea since 2018.

Pressure could be off the Spurs by the time they play Chelsea

Arsenal will be extremely motivated to pick up a win at the London Stadium on Sunday, especially after seeing Man City drop points against Everton.

If Mikel Arteta’s men beat West Ham, Tottenham will have a golden chance to go four points above the Hammers when they take to the field against Leeds on Monday.

That would essentially be a five-point gap, given Spurs’ much superior goal difference, which could take the pressure off the Lilywhites ahead of their trip to West London.

<iframe
