Chelsea are one of the clubs interested in a summer move for Sporting Lisbon\u2019s Maxi Araujo according to reports.<\/p>\n

The Blues had a very quiet January, but are once again expected to be busy this summer with the squad in serious need of reinforcements.<\/p>\n

Chelsea are thought to still be in the market for a centre back, whilst it\u2019s believed they want to add another midfielder and attacker.<\/p>\n

Chelsea interested in Maxi Araujo<\/h2>\n

The Blues have been heavily criticised for their youth focused recruitment strategy, but co-owner Behdad Eghbali has said the model will be tweaked.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been reported the Blues are prepared to sign players with proven Premier League experience, but fans will only believe it when they see it.<\/p>\n

The Blues have been linked with Morgan Rogers and Anthony Gordon, but it appears another name is on their radar.<\/p>\n

AS have reported Chelsea are one of the clubs interested in Sporting\u2019s Araujo, and have been monitoring him since the start of the season.<\/p>\n

The report adds Manchester United, Tottenham, and Juventus have been doing the same, whilst Atletico Madrid have been following him for some time.<\/p>\n

AS state Araujo has a release clause of \u20ac80m, with the asking price for 26-year-old the set at \u20ac50m ahead of a possible summer sale.<\/p>\n

Araujo joined Sporting in the summer of 2024 and has score seven goals and registered four assists in 44 appearances this season.<\/p>\n
