Newcastle\u2019s initial demands for Chelsea target Anthony Gordon were \u20ac90m according to Sky Germany\u2019s Florian Plettenberg.<\/p>\n

Having had a quiet January the Blues are once again expected to be busy this summer, with a the squad in serious need of reinforcements.<\/p>\n

Chelsea are thought to be in the market for a centre back, whilst it\u2019s believed they want to add another midfielder and attacker.<\/p>\n

Newcastle want \u20ac90m for Anthony Gordon<\/h2>\n

The Blues have been heavily criticised for their youth focused recruitment policy, but reports have suggested they are prepared to sign players with proven Premier League experience.<\/p>\n

Co-owner Behdad Eghbali has said the model will be tweaked, but until fans actually see action taken they won\u2019t believe it.<\/p>\n

The Blues are said to be looking for an attacker who can play both from the left and centrally, and have been linked with Gordon.<\/p>\n

Gordon is also attracting interest from Bayern Munich, and Plettenberg has now provided an update on his future.<\/p>\n

He took to X.com and said:<\/p>\n

\u201cThere have already been club-to-club talks between FC Bayern and Newcastle regarding Anthony Gordon. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNewcastle\u2019s initial demands were up to \u20ac90m. Barcelona, Arsenal and Liverpool also informed. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cRealistically, the fee is expected to be around \u20ac75-85m including bonuses. Bayern will not pay that. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThat is why talks with other candidates are also ongoing. <\/span>#NUFC\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
