With Frank Lampard\u2019s managerial stock at an all-time high following his Championship title win with Coventry City, the Chelsea legend has addressed the speculation linking him with a third stint.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Frank Lampard\u2019s first two stints at Chelsea were two extremes. His initial stint saw him navigate a transfer ban to blood youth and secure a top-four finish, but it ultimately unraveled due to inconsistency. <\/p>\n

His second spell, a grim interim rescue mission in 2023, became statistically the worst in the club\u2019s history, managing an embarrassing eight defeats in eleven games.<\/p>\n

Frank Lampard addresses his long-term future <\/h2>\n

Despite the unlikelihood, there have been links between Frank Lampard and the vacant managerial role at Chelsea.<\/p>\n

However, when speaking to The Athletic, it is clear that Lampard\u2019s current focus is on navigating the summer transfer window with Coventry City.<\/p>\n

Does he see himself at Coventry for the long term?<\/p>\n

\u201cI love working here, it\u2019s been an amazing 18 months,\u201d Lampard replies. \u201cWe\u2019ve got a lot of work this summer because I\u2019m also ambitious and want to do well. The level\u2019s going up, and I understand that.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will start talking as a club about what (the challenge of the Premier League) looks like, because there are also things we can improve to help support the players.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s hard to say how long you\u2019re going to be a manager. I remember distinctly at Chelsea being top of the league in December and at home and out of the job at the end of January, that\u2019s football, that\u2019s a manager\u2019s life, so I always try and focus on the short term.\u201d<\/p>\n
