Aston Villa star and reported Chelsea target Morgan Rogers would be a \u201cterrible\u201d signing for the Blues according to journalist Matt Law.<\/p>\n

ON <\/span>THE APP STORE<\/strong><\/p>\n Having been quiet in January, Chelsea face a critical summer and are once again expected to be busy in the window with a number of issues in the squad needing to addressed.<\/p>\n As well as appointing a new head coach, the Blues are still thought to be in the market for a centre back, whilst it\u2019s believed they want to add another midfielder and attacker.<\/p>\n Chelsea have been heavily criticised for their youth focused recruitment strategy, but it\u2019s been reported they\u2019re prepared to sign players with proven Premier League experience this summer.<\/p>\n Co-owner Behdad Eghbali has said the model will be tweaked, but fans won\u2019t believe that until they see action taken.<\/p>\n Chelsea are thought to be looking for a creative attacker who can play from the left and centrally, with Rogers a player they\u2019ve been linked with.<\/p>\n It\u2019s been reported Villa would want a club record fee for Rogers, but Law thinks the England international would be a \u201cterrible\u201d signing for Chelsea.<\/p>\n \u201cI think Morgan Rogers would be a terrible signing for Chelsea, terrible, he is not the right guy,\u201d he told The London Is Blue Podcast.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s too immature. He\u2019s another player who goes through hot and cold spells.
